'I worked as a support care worker for over 3 years and enjoyed every minute of it. During my time there, I administered medications, served meals and completed many other personal tasks, also facilitate the empowerment of people of various ages, so that they are able to live their lives, by assisting the participant’s with the following:- • Showering and, dressing assistance, hygiene needs, bowel and continence support • Manual handling including hoist transfers – manual, electric / assisted standing • Light domestic support, household tasks and assistance or preparation of meals • Medication assistance, medical and allied health appointment • Accessing community facilities, going shopping, supporting someone to meet their friends, support someone to find a job or providing general emotional support. • Data collection, documentation of detailed reports and data entry • Support with assistive technology
