I have obtained Dual Certificate III & IV in Individual Support (aged care) in July 2019 (Kirana College). I have completed both online courses Understanding and preventing Dementia through University of Tasmania (MOOC). In June this year, I have finished 8 units of Bachelor of Dementia Care (University of Tasmania) and met the requirements for obtaining Diploma of Dementia Care. From providing physical support such as assisting with meals and showering to offering emotional sustainability, I have confidence in delivering it all. Since I am comfortable with all the aspects of the work that this position requires one to do, I feel that I am well qualified to work in this job role. I am passionate about providing a high level of person-centered care support, and available to work a range of shifts, weekdays and weekends, plus public holidays. I have a year of experience working at Brightwater Oxford Gardens, Joondalup and Southern Cross Care WA as a multi-skilled care worker. I live in Noranda and I would be able to assist in 30km (30min drive distance).
