Hello, my name is Tia. I am currently in my third year of University at QUT, doing a double degree in Paramedic Science and Nursing. I have completed 12 weeks of nursing placement in acute hospital settings, aged care and community mental health placement. I believe these nursing placement taught me how to not only have the skills required for nursing, but the communication and social interactions that is beneficial for all ages. I have also completed a full time 6 week paramedic placement with the Queensland Ambulance Service. This was probably the best thing that has happened in my life, as it opened my eyes to see a wide range of individual, family and community situations. I can quickly adapt to new situations and have a flexible schedule and am open to working last minute. I am extremely passionate for peoples well being, and want to do my best to help those around me.
