Currently bus with Certificate III in Individual Support and worked as a (Casual) Disability Support Worker 2022-2023: Core Activities:  Deliver frontline services in the provision of National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plans and implementation of policies through assisting Persons with Disability (PwD) with their daily living, transportation, and social and community participations. This incorporates: ­ Working in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team with colleagues and clients from various backgrounds and diverse skills and capabilities. ­ Connecting with persons with intellectual disabilities and sensitively supporting their needs and wellbeing. ­ Reporting and recording meetings, incidents, behaviours, health status, goal achievements to monitor and action on clients’ needs. ­ Gaining authentic exposure to the education on the rights of PwD and the need to advocate for groups experiencing disadvantage.
