I have my certificate 3 in aged care and have had 1 year experience. over the year I have enjoyed working in different areas to see what area would fit me. I have more experience with in-home care such as cleaning, washing/ironing, showers, transfer/mobility needs, cooking/assist with eating and a companion support with your loved ones and any pets and any other basic house hold needs. I also have experience with overnight stays and weekend stays. I have used most of the helping aids such commode chair, hoist, transfer board, electric/normal wheel chairs and walking frames. I have had experience with amputees and dementia and palliative care. I absolutely love working as a ain I find it very rewarding and I get to meet amazing people.
