I have a Certificate III in aged care and disability, including a current first aid certificate and a police and children’s check. I found the courses and work experience undertaken to I have been very rewarding which gave me a comprehensive insight into individual needs whilst building lasting relationships. I am always working towards improving myself and my skill set. I have a current drivers license with a reliable, insured vehicle. I have also completed a business and medical administration course which has given me sound computer skills and an understanding of medical terminology. My brother had a car accident just over a year ago now and has been left with a traumatic brain Injury and some mobility issues which has helped me decide that I want a career that offers a real sense of purpose. I want to commit to the celebration of diversity and optimise the physical, emotional and social well being of my clients. Working with my brother and also being his live in carer has really given me the push to want to help others.
