I have no official experience with aged care, other than a week of work experience at a nursing home in high school, and doing things with my grandfather. However, I love people. I'm hoping to find someone I can help with companionship, helping them go on outings or errands, helping do shopping for, helping declutter their homes or some light cleaning. I'd be very good at diversional therapy. I have some experience with personal care of children and maintaining their dignity and rights and I think I can do that for adults, however I am not able to physically lift anyone. I would like to find work I can do around my study and my job at an out of school hours care. My interests involve crafts, reading, writing, pets and animals, cooking desserts (though I can cook main meals too), playing games including card and board games, history and more. I can teach modern life skills such as computer and phone use.
