I have a background in residential aged care which I thoroughly enjoyed the work, however my personal values don't align with the way residential facilities treat clients, as such I have moved to home care in order to make a positive difference in my clients lives and keep them living in their own homes for as long as possible. With home care, I have experience with house keeping, meal preparation, transportation, personal care, companionship and disability care. In my own personal life I have also provided care to family members for both palliative care and care during cancer treatment. Being a mum of 6 children, I have a large degree of patience and understanding and I am a very caring person.
