Three years ago my Mother broke both of her ankles and I assisted my Father to look after her in their home. As challenging as it was and with no experience, I learnt a so much in regards to restricted movement, exercises and different stages of healing and care. Then a year and a half ago, I helped my Mother look after my Father until he lost his lifelong battle with a heart condition which he had since he was a teenager. Even though they are my parents, and I love them dearly, I feel the same way about anyone requiring assistance with daily living, no matter what impairment, race, religion or background and have a genuine enthusiasm to help others. I hope that after expressing my honest passion to become a support worker that you would accept my medical certificate showing I have acquired natural immunity which I am happy to continue updating accordingly with a serology test.
