I have previously worked with a Healthcare agency for three years. In this role I have worked in a variety of Healthcare settings including working in acute hospital wards as well as aged care homes and a specifically designed dementia unit. I hold a FETAC Level 5 award in Healthcare Support. I also hold up to date patient moving and manual handling, first aid and defibrillation, Infection prevention and control certs, Safe guarding of vulnerable adults along with other independent modules (see CV for details). I lived in the US for one year in 2015 and worked as a caregiver, caring for a gentleman whom was a wheelchair user due to a spinal fracture injury. I understand the level of importance of maintaining a patient’s confidentiality and dignity at all times while carrying out any tasks required. I am very patient person by nature and I can empathize with patients and their families. In my past careers I have had the opportunity to demonstrate that I can work on my own initiative or as part of a busy team. I will be in a position to bring important skills to the post, including high-levels of patient care, dedication, trust, confidentiality and integrity. I am available to commence work immediately.
