My name is Marilena and I come from Italy. grew up with my maternal grandmother from whom I inherited the passion for, sewing and love for the family. I started studying elderly care because 15 years ago my grandmother was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. I lived with her all the evolution of the disease and together with my family, we took care of her.I believe that older people are the connection with the past, that past that makes you know many things and enlarges your cultural background.I would like all older people to feel loved even if they are far from their loved ones.
