My name is Lysia and I have 1 year experience working with clients with spinal cord injuries, from very high support in a clinical home setting to low support where clients are slightly more mobile. I'm well trained in all in home care needs from showering, dressing, toileting, helping to get in and out of bed to meal prep, house hold cleaning and community access. Although I don't have specific aged care experience, I did do live in care with my grandmother for 2 months when she was sick, which is what inspired me to get into support work. I'm a very happy and smiley person with a very caring heart. I'm very arty and love to create anything from painting/drawing, woodwork, jewellery, garden deco and more. Along my journey I've found a way to combine 2 of my passions, art and helping people, with the diploma in holistic integrated creative arts therapy that I've completed. I'm able to provide help and care as well as inspire healing through art. I have a very high standard in treating people with the utmost care and respect. I'm reliable with great communication.
