Previously a GP (for 10 years) I also have 5 years' experience as a Disability Support Worker (while studying medicine). Now retired from medicine I am seeking casual work in aged care. I am very friendly, personable, always curious about people, and very comfortable with all aspects of aged-care. I am exceptionally reliable and punctual. It is important to stress that, while my years as a GP certainly contribute to my familiarity and ability in aged care I am no longer licensed to practice and would strictly confine my duties to usual aged-care roles.
