I have worked in the aged care sector for over 20 years throughout New Zealand and Australia. I am a friendly, caring person who loves to help people. I am trained in personal cares,home help, dementia/Alzheimer care. Working for senior care gave me a lot of joy going into clients homes who lived remotely. Companionship is all some needed, and getting them back into community activities to bring some much needed joy as families had moved on. Palliative care was a special time for me to assist clients and families in the final special moments.
