I would like to express interest for the position of Personal Care Assistant with your organization. I am medical student with certificate III in aged care, finished my master’s in microbiology looking for opportunities in care sector to enhance my skills with local Australian experiences and to develop my career in this field. I have completed my certificate III in aged care from Einstein College and did 160 hours of work placement at Care. I have an experience as a Personal care worker with Care Nursing Home since September 2019. My responsibilities there have included assisting residents in all areas of personal hygiene and dressing, arranging and accompanying them to social activities, assisting with general maintenance and food preparation, and providing general care and emotional support to residents. I have current Manual Handling Certificate, First Aid, Medication Competencies and National police clearance as well as DCSI clearance.
