I have over 2 years of experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and Personal Care Giver in the United States of America. In this role I built strong relationships with my clients and their families. As a CNA I assisted my clients with a range of activities of daily living, including; showering, toileting, dressing, feeding, shaving, and any other personal hygiene needs. My clients ranged from being independent to wheelchair bound and some who were even on hospice. As a personal care giver I traveled to my clients home to help with similar activities of daily living, but I also helped with light household chores such as; cleaning, laundry, assisting with pets, making/changing the bed, organizing the home and or schedule, drove clients to appointments, supermarket shopping and cooking (I love to cook!). Although I have lived in the USA for the past 6 years, I grew up in Melbourne Australia and will be returning to for 3.5 months to finish my Masters Degree in Public Health. I have a deep passion for helping people live healthy happy lives. My undergraduate degree is in Nutrition and Dietetics (hence my love of food!).
