I have always had a connection to elderly people. I used to accompany and support an amazing 80-year-old man during the last years of his live. I picked him up and drove him wherever he needed to be driven. We had long hours of conversations and beautiful walks through his park. He loved being outside! Furthermore I accompanied my Nana during her dying process by being with her, listening to her thoughts, going through her whole life one more time and looking after her about almost one month. It might sound odd but it was one of the most valuable and life-changing experiences I’ve ever had.
