During my short period of experience in an aged care, I realized that the best thing we can do for an aged person is to spend some time with them, encouraging them to reminiscing and talk to them. It would be great if we could encourage them to get engaged in activities they are interested in. Most of them like to maintain their independence. Therefore, activities that could make them feel independent and improve their abilities would be one of the best things we could do for them.
