I am a diligent and self-motivated care worker who is empathetic and understanding. I have a strong dedication to caring for the aged people and have a good working knowledge of the care quality commission’s regulation and requirements of health and social care. I have undertaken the workplace training courses in health, and care as part of my Enrolled Nursing course at TAFE Ultimo e.g., first aid and CPR, Manual Handling, how to implement and monitor care of the older person, infection control among other units that are relevant to aged care. Due to my aged care experience, I can carry out care activities such as: personal care, transporting residents from one point to another, administering medication with precise accuracy, helping residents with their ADL, e.g., feeding, and grooming, also, I am able to communicate well with residents living with dementia and other cognitive impairment conditions, I pay attention to details in providing service to the residents. I have good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, an excellent team player, hardworking and physically fit for the job, above all, I am a very patient person because I believe that aged care requires a lot of patience.
