For a typical shift in aged care, as I arrive I greet my client and check on their well being. We sit and chat for a little bit, and I ask what they need to do today. We put a list together of our activities and work in a coffee/and or lunch as well. My usual shift length tends to be 2 - 3 hours - unless otherwise needed. During my shift I also clean any dishes in the sink or stack the dishwasher, change the sheets on the bed, take care of any ironing as well. General I am there to help with what ever is needed.
