I'm a kind, friendly and capable worker with a passion for public health, aged care and community service. I have had the privilege to work on several projects relating to aged care including onsite work with Remote and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Aged Care Service Development providers and was a key member in the model of the Aged Care Reform Network. I have also undertaken volunteer positions in aged care and community services which involved meal preparations and connecting with aged care clients. On a more personal note, I am the key carer for my grandmother who turned 89 this year. I am live-in help providing meals, transport to medical appointments, grocery runs, cleaning and any other assistance she needs in order to live at home. It brings me so much pride that I am able to help her live independently in the house and community that she loves so much. Whilst it's not always straight forward I know that providing the simple assistance she needs has made the world of difference for her quality of life.
