Hi everyone, I am a Filipina currently migrated here in Central Coast Australia. In the Philippines, i studied caregiving for aged, child, and special needs. I was working directly to families that needed my help. I had a patient who has Motor Neuron Disease- he was French. The last patient I had, was an old lovely woman she was on her late 80's, she was bed ridden and later on suffered dementia. I took care of her and also monitored her vital signs. Sadly, she passed away after few months of her dementia. I have an internship in the Public hospital as well, particularly in the pedia and adult general admission ward. I have compassion and a high respect to the old. I know, they can be difficult at times but I understand later on in my life, I will be like them. So, I am treating them like how I wanted to be treated when my old age come. I am not only doing this because I will be paid, but also because this is what I love to do.
