My name is Jasmine, I am from Canada and am living in Australia with my partner who is from Melbourne. I grew up on a farm and from a young age have had a passion to take care of others. It started with animals as I grew up on a farm where we had chickens, dogs and barnyard cats. I would spend all of my time outdoors with the animals, feeding them, collecting eggs and playing. As I got older I was able to babysit for neighbors and really enjoyed spending time with kids and found a great deal of satisfaction in the responsibility of caring for others. When I was 17 I moved to Virginia to live on a ranch with a family friend where I helped with her horses, Scottish Highlander cows and general maintenance of the farm. She also had her father living with her who had dementia and I would regularly cook for him, do the washing up (laundry,cleaning), and just spend time with him.
