My name is Isidora, I am 28 years old and I have been working as a midwife for 4 years at the Felix Bulnes Hospital, a public hospital located in Santiago, Chile. I have Working Holiday Visa. I have vaste expertise in advanced nursing care and care of prostrate people or with reduced mobility. My experiences have shown me how important it is to accompany and care for people since they need to feel safe and control on a physical and emotional level. Another extremely important but frequently overlooked feature is the respect and dignity that these patients and their families should be accorded. In addition, I've completed a variety of courses that I believe could assist the volunteer development. Some of them are Infeccion Associated with Health Care ; Quality and Patient Safety; CPR; Waste from Health Care Facilities; Emergencies in Gynecology and Code Red, Strengthening of Work Environments; and Inclusion and User Care. Finally, I've received five shots against COVID-19. I think that my professional background would benefit this opportunity, and it would also be a very valuable experience that would provide me with more knowledge.
