Working in Disability and Aged Care facilities gave me the opportunity to work alongside experienced nurses to assist in the care of the elderly. I assisted with personal care, showering, dressing, feeding, lifting and assisting residents with daily living activities. I gained experience in communicating with staff, families and residents.
