SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION: • Highly skilled in assisting diverse clients in the activities of daily living • Well versed in providing companionship and conversation • In-depth knowledge of providing personal grooming; skin care, hair, nails and oral care • Proven record of giving assistance in shower, toileting, bathing, dressing and personal hygiene • Demonstrated ability to encourage everyday activities in keeping with the client’s needs and capabilities. • Adept at preparing nutritious meals both for elderly and child client. Proven ability to remind prescribed and over the counter medication • Trained First Aider. Knowledgeable in giving First Aid, Basic Life Support and CPR to both elderly and child client. • Knowledgeable in using the sphygmomanometer and stethoscope in getting client’s blood pressure. • Arrange and supervise activities designed to enhance physical, social and emotional wellbeing. • Deliver activities that promote emotional and intellectual stimulation • Liaising with other health care professionals, family members and carers • Maintains a safe living environment by minimizing or removing safety risks or hazards.
