I have work in aged care for about 5 to six years now. I have gain different experience, meet different elders with different support and their individual differences both in rendering cares and their behaviours. The support I give to one client is differ to the one I give to another client. one could be is independent both need assist for dressing or wearing shoe while the other need total support in activity of daily living. And sometime the way I work could be base on the choice my clients or the family want. I have experience in using hoist, stand lifter, slide sheet and important tools for manual handling. And one thing my clients like about me is being faithful, respectful, tolerate and patient. And I also see my clients as person not the decease he had.
