For the last few years I have been my elderly mother's primary carer. Providing emotional support, assisting with household tasks, taking her for appointments, shopping and social events. I would love the opportunity to make a difference and assist others to enhance their overall well-being and quality of life. I have a deep sense of empathy and compassion towards the elderly population. I believe in treating every person with dignity, respect and individualised care. I possess good communication skills which enable me to establish rapport and build trusting relationships. I am patient, tolerance and and respect diversity. Furthermore I am married with a beautiful 5 yr old daughter. I am a happy go type person who loves to smile. I enjoy having a chat and listening to others talk. My hobbies include, cooking, gardening, going for walks, shopping and going to the beach. Now that I have more time, since my daughter is at School, I would the love the opportunity to assist others with their day to day needs.
