I have been in age care for 2 years roughly working in two different nursing homes the skills I gained while working in the nursing homes were correct manual handling, communication with people from a different diversity, assistance with feeding ,assistance with basic additional Dailey living needs such as tidying the room after getting ready for the day , assistance with washing/showers/ dressing and mobility during my time in the nursing home I also assisted working in the kitchen preparing meals for the residents and serving, my main priority with in the job is to ensure the happiness and wellbeing for the people I am helping.
