I have over 20 years experience in aged and disability care. I have also worked in the corporate administration side of aged care more recently. I have worked in the community extensively and also with in residential facilities. I am medication endorsed and have held roles where I have supervised and mentored staff. I relate very well to all the clients and residents I have cared for and have genuinely loved working with the many different challenges that this work has presented. Not all my clients have been elderly. Some have been in their 40's and 50's with varying degrees of disabilities ranging from wheel chair bound, complete locked in syndrome to much more subtle disabilities. I am looking for part-time (up to 30 hours per week) work and have my own transport. I am a very easy going person and adaptable. My most recent job was made redundant and I would like to return to community care. I have both Certificate III and IV in Aged and Community care.
