I started off working with people with Disabilities then my late husband and i worked for Child Youth Services as House Parents for Children aged from 6-16 year old that is where we met our Foster daughter Who came to live with us when she was 14 she is now a Mother and Nana . My husband decided to go Dairy Farming and I went into Aged Care This is where i found my Niche and also working with my husband on the Farm. I love Aged Care especially working in the Dementia Unit and meeting really lovely residents with whom I was able to get to know on a personal basis and singing at their funeral gave me peace of mind when they passed . I have Level 3 certificate in Residential and Community Services and The Dementia and Advance Dementia certificates along with rewards i received whilst at the Facility I worked at . I am compassionate and very caring and I would go out of my way to assist in anyway I can . One of my Ceo's paid me a compliment saying I have decorum which means a lot to me. I work well in a Team or autonomously and am reliable and Honest . I have 4 adult children and 5 grandchildren and I was happily married for 3 w years till my husband was killed in a Farm accident in 2014.
