When I was in kindergarten if anybody asked me what I want to become when I grow up, I would answer I want to be a superhero. I wanted to save the world. From a very young age I knew that I have to choose a role where I can help people in need. There are so many problems in the world and so less people who wants to solve them. I once thought being a lawyer will enable me to help people. However, now I have realized that is not appropriate in every situation. As my aim of life is to help people in need, support work is the right career path for me. I have worked not only in Australia but also in Europe. I have been a volunteer in several NGOs in Europe and now I am continuing my work as a support worker in Hireup in Australia. I am passionate about support work because supporting other people makes me to understand life better. I have understood why Gandhi and Mother Teresa lived the way they did. Now I wholeheartedly believe in the good of everyone, and support work allows me to connect with, mentor and help others achieve their goals.
