I regularly help my grandad with day to day chores as well as taking him out for errands or to appointments. He is a type 1 diabetic so I feel comfortable and confident helping people with insulin administration/monitor people. My grandma was previously in an aged care home for 5 years too and whenever I was there I would help out the carers with things like meal times/feeding individuals as well as taking them for walks and keeping them company.
