| Hi families! My name is Mikeily I have worked in the childcare industry for over 2 years and have 4 years of babysitting experience, as well as working with children for the last 5 years. During my time in the industry I have cared for children 6 weeks of age to 12 years. I have a certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care as well as a Working With Children's check, First aid and CPR. I am a bright and bubbly individual who has a passion to care and help educate children of all ages! It is my goal to connect and support every child I come into contact with, whether it is helping them feel safe and comfortable and giving them a shoulder to cry on all the way through to helping children reach their fill potential in everything their smart little brains can do and achieve in a fun and enjoyable way. | I grew up the oldest of four children, babysitting and child minding has been installed in me from when I was a child looking after child. I have a Masters in Psychology and I excelled in child development papers. It has always been important to me to support children with their development as this is the stepping stones for their future. I have had ample experience in babysitting. I have experience working with children with disabilities in addition to supporting youth with mental health needs. I have worked at after school care and holidays programme. I have recently relocated to Melbourne from New Zealand with my 3 year old to be close to family. For a year and a half leading to this move I was a live in Nanny. My main responsibilities were transport the children to multiple activities, supporting homework and music practise, observing mood and behaviour and being someone the kids could talk with. I am an open person and I am always happy to do what needs to be done, whether it’s cleaning, changing nappies, cooking or playing I don’t mind. I am also vigilant and a pro at spotting hazards thanks to my son. I have multiple references which will be shared gladly.

| I have been working with children for just over 8 years now, I have done ongoing babysitting, worked in a child care setting as a senior lead educator, working in before and after school care, and currently working in a small family day care, so I have experience in all ages :) I hold my diploma of early childhood, all first aid certificates, blue card and an open drivers license.
