I have over 20 years experience working with children of all ages. I have worked in both childcare and nannying. I am very respectful and caring. I believe children develop at their own pace. I think it is important to take into account that each child has unique needs. I believe experiences should be meaningful to the child, based on his/her interests, strengths and needs, catering for their physical, social, emotional, cognitive and language development. I believe it is very important to create an environment that is calm, welcoming, stimulating, organised, safe and empowers the child to
feel secure and encourages a sense of belonging. I believe it is important to support and extend children's learning. Children need positive role modelling and reinforcement,
as well as setting consistent, clear guidelines. I believe it is very important to communicate and work with families. I believe it is important to offer both indoor and outdoor experiences that foster curiosity, cognitive thinking, language, literacy, social development, creativity, gross motor and fine motor skills. I aim to provide the highest quality care to the children in my care.
