Disability and complex needs experience, full of knowledge and happy to learn more!
|
Since the age of 14 I have volunteered with children with disabilities, doing community activities, personal care, cleaning, and everything between. When I turned 18 I began working with children with disabilities in a similar role as my volunteering. 2 Years later I began with a different organisation, working with adults with disabilities. I now have experience with lots of personal care needs, some complex, and have experience with severe behaviours, giving me lots of skills that I can use in many different fields of work, particularly with children. I am now looking to go back into working with children as I believe that's where my passion lies. I am currently taking a year off of studying Occupational Therapy at Uni, meaning I am fully available and happy for any new challenge. I am happy to discuss any opportunity and am always happy to grow my knowledge base.
