| I have been involved with children my entire life, being the oldest grandchild out of 12 kids I have always been in charge of caring for them. As my love for kids is such a big part of my life, I had the opportunity to travel overseas in 2016 and 2017 through the Camp America program, working as a camp counsellor and basketball coach at Camp Wah-Nee in Connecticut spending 8 weeks caring for and interacting with 11, 10 year old girls 24/7. It was incredibly rewarding as a coach and counsellor to see these girls overcome their homesickness over the summer, it was in this time where I understood that Children are the most special possession parents hold, and was able to contribute to the lives of these girls where i became increasingly more confident looking after children.I strongly believe in my ability to be responsible and reliable.I also believe that working with children isn't just a matter of connecting with them,also ensuring a safe environment providing guidance and support.

| I’m bubbly, energetic and have worked with children in a school setting as an SSO (kids with autism, and classroom support), under 25’s as a counsellor, and a babysitter with young children through to early teens! I hold a Bachelor of Psychological Science (University of Adelaide), First Aid Certificate, Responding Abuse and Neglect Training (certified through DECD), full Drivers licence, and a current DCSI clearance.

| I have previously worked in childcare with ages 4 months - 5 year-olds and done babysitting of 2-10 year-olds, individually and groups up to of 10 children. I practice child-lead learning and working on independence skills for age appropriate learning. I have previously worked with kid with eating difficulties, ADHD and other unique, individual needs. I am young, but responsible and a quick responder in difficult situations. I take children's diet seriously and encourage healthy and responsible eating habits and take allergies and eating preferences very seriously. I am highly creative and will find new and stimulating activities for your children. I will Provide a written record of activities/eating/sleep throughout the day and believe in following a parent-approved schedule and meals. I am currently studying psychology online, with the goal of child psychology after progressing far enough in my studies, and am starting my own face painting company.
