My name is Rose and I am almost graduated (third year) paramedic student at Flinders University. With this, I have been nationally cleared for my required police check, as well as being cleared for working with children. Additionally in this degree, I have gained advanced knowledge of CPR, skills in first aid, knowledge of pharmacology, and have a good understanding of specific diseases/reactions, and the correct intervention. I have also been on many placements with qualified paramedics, treating patients with real medical emergencies and have received positive feedback. I am up to date with all my immunisations, including the flu shot and completion of COVID vaccinations. Most recently I was a babysitter and petsitter in Banff, a small town in Canada. I absolutely loved this job as I have always enjoyed child care. Most commonly, I cared for children of preschool and school ages but also cared for infants and toddlers. Overall, I am a bubbly and driven person.
