Patient, passionate and loving babysitter
|
Since I was 18 years old I have taken care of my family friends new born part-time. My duties included, bathing and dressing, changing nappies, preparing and cleaning bottles, preparing meals and snacks. As she got older I was disciplining, sanitising toys, cleaning up play areas and putting her to bed. When I was 11 my mum had twins (boy and girl) and I can't remember a time where I didn't want to help her and as I got older it just became so natural to me to take care of them. My mum is a Police officer working split shifts so when they were old enough I drove them to school, made their lunches, helped them with homework and prepared meals when she couldn't. My brother has ADHD so I've learnt to be very patient with children. The experience I have had with looking after children in different age groups, I believe my skill set is quite advanced and I feel very confident in looking after your kids. I love children and what they have to offer in the sense of making me feel passionate and happy in my job.
(I have had my CPR and First Aid certificate in the past but it has expired, I'm more then willing to renew it and I have also applied for my blue card)
