| I have recently moved from Geelong to the Portland area to support my partner who is a graduate Secondary School teacher in town. I am looking for casual employment while I study my Certificate IV in Early Childhood Education. I absolutely love kids and providing support to families is something that makes me very happy. I have worked casually with a family of 7 (5 children under 9 and 2 with special needs) in Geelong for the last 12 months as a babysitter and nanny. Leaving this job (and the family) was a difficult decision, but as I wanted to support my partner in his new career it was necessary. I would consider myself bubbly, energetic, kind and compassionate. I love providing care for children and engaging with young people, which is why I want to become an early childhood educator after studying. I would love the opportunity to work with families around the Glenelg area, as I want to meet new people and have new experiences. I have a Current Working with Children’s Check and am more than willing to provide a Police Check. I am able to pass on contact details of the parents of the family I worked with in Geelong if that is desired.

| I am a fun, enthusiastic, and nurturing person and I absolutely adore spending time with kids! I have a natural knack for connecting with children and creating a fun and safe environment for them. I have experience baby-sitting children aged 2-4 years, and I've loved every minute of it! I'm patient, and responsible, and always prioritise the wellbeing of the children under my care. I have over a year of experience working in a primary school as an OSCH educator, as well as working in a classroom as an ES, providing me with a variety of skills/ tools such as being able to communicate clearly and listen attentively, and being able to adapt to different situations and handle unexpected circumstances. I can provide educational support, such as assisting with homework or learning tasks. I enjoy engaging kids in creative activities like arts, crafts and storytelling, and even outdoor adventures. My top priority is always safety, through my roles at the primary school I have a strong understanding of safety protocols, I have a current WWCC and police check, I have also completed various child safety modules.
