My name is Dihansa and I am currently studying a Masters in Secondary Teaching at Deakin University. As I recently completed my Bachelor's in Psychology, I aspire to teach and mentor secondary school children, and children in general, as a means of contributing to the well-being of our society's future generation. As a young adult who has countless personal life experiences in taking care of both children and the elderly, I have cultivated the patience, compassion, and empathy to understand children and the challenges that comes with it, in a professional and safe manner. I understand the importance of building trust and communication in order to maintain a safe environment for children. Additionally, with my competency in being able to multitask, I am confident in listening attentively and communicate clearly ensures that children feel heard, valued, and understood, but to also attend to necessary tasks prioritizing the safety and well-being of the child. Hence, I thrive in challenging environments, therefore i believe as caregivers, we have a dedication to nurturing children's growth and well-being ensuring that I create a positive and enriching environment where they can thrive.
