Passionate Future Educator: From Leadership Roles to Hands-On Experience in Child Development
|
I am currently studying to become a primary school educator, with plans to eventually transition into teaching high school mathematics. Growing up on a small island, I was raised in a close-knit community where caring for and supporting people of all ages was a fundamental part of life. This instilled in me a passion for helping others succeed and move forward.
During my time at school, I took on several leadership roles, serving as SRC President, Sporting House Captain, and School Captain. These experiences allowed me to engage with students across all year levels, fostering strong connections and actively participating in school life.
Additionally, I worked in a holiday childcare program, where I spent several weeks with primary-aged children. This hands-on experience allowed me to play, interact, and build meaningful relationships with them, reinforcing my passion for education and child development.
