warm, nurturing, fun and enthusiastic

I am 42 and a mother of 3 wonderful girls. I am a stay at home mum, studying early childhood teaching at Tas Uni on line and have a small home based business.
I started babysitting my first niece when I was 11 and for the last 31 year I have had the joy of babysitting 19 more! I am a qualified youth worker and have 8 years experience. Working in Immigration Detention with families and unaccompanied minors I learnt that children, despite their desperate situation and vulnerabilities, essentially just want to feel safe, loved and to have fun.
If your child loves a giggle, to run around outside, play board games, make things, read books, dance, make up silly songs, cook tasty treats, dress up, make believe and to learn new things then we are going to get on just great!!
I have a current working with vulnerable children card and am seeking to renew my Senior First Aid Certificate. I like to meet children and their families prior to our first sitting session wherever possible. I am a stranger in your home after all and I would like to give you and your child/children the opportunity to meet me, spend some time with me and make sure I am a good fit for you. This is free of charge.
