| For more than five years, I led a group of diverse young Scouts, aged 7 to 14, on outdoor adventures. We spent winters and summers exploring nature, camping for up to a week at a time. Our weekly gatherings focused on fun activities that encouraged both play and thoughtful reflection, creating a nurturing environment for learning and growth. My approachable and adaptable personality allowed me to connect with children of all backgrounds and temperaments. I tailored our activities to suit each child's individual needs, ensuring everyone felt included and supported. Drawing from my background in visual arts and music, I enjoy bringing creativity into childcare. Whether it's through crafting, artistic projects, or sharing music, I love finding ways to spark joy and curiosity in children. In addition to my experience as a scout leader, I have also worked as a babysitter on numerous occasions, providing care and companionship to children. | I have been babysitting for family since I was thirteen years old when I became a certified babysitter in the US. I come from a very large family.. over one hundred cousins! So as soon as I became a teenage I was put to work, hah! I’ve babysat kids from just a few months old to thirteen years old. I’m good with all ages. I work as an aupair for a family of three in Melbourne for nine months. Back in the US I work as a substitute teacher for K-12. I’ve been living in Australia for three years and traveling around Cairns about six months and I love it up here! I volunteer on one of the local lives boards so I can go diving in my free time.
