| Hi I’m Elisarita! Growing up with a younger brother with ADHD has taught me so much, I’ve become incredibly understanding, open minded and resilient. I am often told I am quite mature for my age and believe a lot of it came from taking on additional responsibilities with my brother. My professional experience began with caring for family friends (aged 3 and 6), as well as sporadically caring for two families (aged 5 and 7, and 4 and 8) before beginning a part time role with a young family of six, with kids aged 6, 11 and two 9 year old twins. One of the twins lives with a disability that impairs her physical and vocal capabilities, making her my primary focus for this role, strengthening my multitasking abilities, sympathy and understanding. During my primary school years I was also a “buddy” to two beautiful girls with autism, caring for these lovely girls and attending/adapting to their special needs was an incredibly rewarding experience. I will be able prepare kids for bed, assist with homework, supervise and entertain them, tackle household duties, and beyond, I am happy to handle anything required of me and help anyway I can, no task is too big or small!
