Fun, Creative and Attentive Carer

Hi there! My name is Prudence , I am 21 years old and was born and raised on the Sunshine Coast. I do not have any formal certificates or experience, however, for the past 4 years, I have provided after-school care for my two nieces who are currently 7 and 10. Both of the girls are on the spectrum, which has gifted me plenty of experience and understanding on how to support, encourage and care for others with weird and wonderful behaviours. I am a potter in my spare time so we love engaging in interactive activities such as pottery, painting and craft making, this creative side is something I would love to share with the children I care for! I truly thrive when working with children as knowing I can have a positive impact on a child's development encourages me to be advantageous, fun, and trustworthy in all aspects of my life. I understand finding a nanny can be a stressful experience so more than anything I want my future employers to know I will go above and beyond to ensure both parents and children have a positive and memorable experience with me. I believe in redirection, open communication, positive interactions and a safe, supportive environment for children to grow and thrive.
