Reliable, fun, and experienced educator

I am a Diploma Trained Educator with 7 years experience in paid work with children, and a further 3 years of study and babysitting work. I have most recently been the director of a before and after school care service (5-12yr olds), and have also worked in early years learning (12mth - 5 years), and currently work part time in a sensory play role.
My priority when caring for children is safety, fun, and learning through play. I appreciate stable routines for children and place an importance on age appropriate independence and life skills. I believe that children learn through play, and have the right to experience a range of learning settings, including structured and adult led activities, child led play and exploration, sports, crafts, music and more.
I am a non smoker, have my own reliable car and a clean driving record. I am fully vaccinated against COVID 19. I have completed extensive child protection training, as well as Covid saftey training, and have experience prepping meals for school aged children, though I am a competent cook in general as well. I am confident in the water with children, having also been a swimming instructor in my first job. I enjoy exploring crafts, nature, and music with children of all ages.
