I’m an enthusiastic career with a passion to help others reach their full potential

I began my career journey working with children when I was 16. I baby sat in my small home town Temora after school hours and on weekends. Once leaving school I persued a career in disability which now has led me to have experience with a range of clients of all ages and disabilities. I’ve been with Northcott disability services for just roughly 4 years and have learnt to work with significant behaviours of concern, general house duties, assisting to access the community/ organise holidays they desire to go on, support them to attend. I’ve taken clients to a range of places such as Sydney, Dubbo, Albury, Melbourne for events. I also had the opportunity to run a “Life Skills” class at a day program.
A year ago I started work with foster children, my role was to care, create a safe space and implement a routine, assist with home duties depending on the age and be open and willing for conversations to listen and support as they work through trauma.
I would love the opportunity to continue my work with children/ disability. I have a current driver’s license, WWC, police check, certificate 3 in business medical and a number of trainings from my current job (First Aid, CPR, epilepsy, anaphylaxis ect.)
