I am a fun, patient, loving, energetic, respectful, funny and caring person with a passion for working with children. I’m a second year nusing student with the goal of becoming a paediatric nurse. I have a blue card, yellow card, first aid and cpr certificates. I have 8 months experience at the cerebral palsy league working as a personal carer where I worked with many children of all care needs. I have experience baby sitting for friends and family this includes babies and children up to the age of 10, I am currently working with a family of 4 babysitting a 7 and 9 year old 3 afternoons a week, this include pick up from school, changing clothes, making and giving afternoon tea, and playing/ entertaining the children until there parents return home. I have recently completed a 4 week placement at the Logan child and community health clinic where I was able to observe develop and understand the need for playing, taking and praising children, during this placement I was responsible for caring for many children and babies. Majority of the time I was caring for babies under 6 months and establishing good routines with the parents.
