We would rather stay at the same house, but if that’s not possible we will have to find two different families to stay with:) I have been working as a nanny before for about 1 year (5yo girl) Moreover I have younger siblings and cousins whom I also looked after. My boyfriend have no experience working with children. However, he has two younger siblings of which the youngest is quite young. He is very empathetic and loves children (I think it might be because he enjoys playing just as much as the kids around him) and is a natural with children. We Think you have to know when to be assertive but that it is certainly not necessary to be so all the time. This is because it is important to make the child feel loved and to have an emotional bond with the kid which is far more important for mental health and development. I had A levels in English and Social Studies, and i wrote my exam project in Social Studies and Psychology - which i loved! I have had multiple jobs already. I worked in a grocery store for about a year, and then transferred to McDonalds for 3 years. When the summer comes, i work in an ice-cream shop at the beach :) I have done gymnastics my whole life until high school, and i have been a volunteer assistant coach for children aged 5-10 years old :) I also love being active, and i enjoy running and swimming! As mentioned i babysit a few times every month - that includes transporting from kindergarten and school, doing fun activities (such as playing football or making bracelets), cooking and eating dinner and putting the kids to sleep. I love being with children, i just think they have so much positive energy! I love to watch them develop and get to know them as they grow older. | I have always loved the idea of being an au pair. I think the concept of coming into a caring family and helping them with making their day easier and fun, is something i would love to be a part of. I have previous experience in childcare, both as a babysitter for a family for 3 months before covid hit and as a volunteer in a local kindergarten for one week at 14 and another 3 days at 18 years old. I am always the girl in the family playing with the younger cousins. Even through I haven’t been working as much with kids, I would love to think about my host family as my own family. So I will treat the kids as my own siblings while still being responsible. I love reading and i recently starting to love cooking.
